Labeling: Plus (w/ Weight, Name of Your Farm) $0.50 / bird

*Ice is required for processing. If you don't provide your own (10 lbs per 10 birds) it'll be provided by us at the above cost.

Optional Services Price
Rental: Chicken (no Turkey) Stackable Carriers (10 bird capacity) $2.00 / day
Feet: Clip Toenails (dried feet w/o nails are popular dog treats) $0.50 / foot
Frozen Storage* $0.50 / bird per day

*If birds aren't picked up at scheduled time they'll be automatically frozen by us at the above cost.

What we need to know

  • How many birds need to be processed?
  • Will you want all chicken parts (Organs, feet)?
  • Will you bring your own ice or will we have to provide it?
  • We need advance notice if we are to provide ice.
  • Will you take your chickens home same day? If so, we will need to begin processing in the morning.

Process

Dispatch Poultry, Scald, Pluck, Eviscerate, Chill (9 hrs for freeing up joints), Shrink Wrap, Label, Freeze

Additional Info

We do not provide boxes or coolers.
Be sure to take birds off feed for 12 hours prior to processing (empty crop, stomach) but continue to give them water.
